The Vistas del Angel project was completed by local practice LAKP, with a focus on respecting the environment and building site specificities. Not only is the home mindful of its location within a forest, it maximizes the advantages that come along with it. The Vistas del Angel residence stands ‘dangerously’ close to the edge of a hilltop, which makes it appear incredibly sophisticated, as well as ultra contemporary. Its contour closely follows that of the terrain, while its exterior is replete with many open-air terraces and wooden decks with softly meandering lines. It features numerous cantilevering volumes, while inside, the overall design and atmosphere highlights ample open spaces and modern furniture design.

Modern home design tends to focus on simplicity and effectiveness – a perfect marriage between form and function. Consequently, the interiors of Vistas del Angel residence are sleek and simple, with a two-story open plan day area that expands vertically into a lofted dining room. The seating solutions are perfectly integrated into the décor, while ample views open before the tenants, via the floor-to-ceiling glazed areas. A special mention also goes out for the superb bathrooms, whose grey slate tiling is strewn with natural stones, for a unique look that suggests a communion with nature. True to its name, the Vistas del Angel does look like the kind of home that will make you feel like you can see angels from within its comfortable interiors.
